Like the M1 of 2008 and the 328 of 2011, BMW will offer a “Homage” to one of these illustrious sports models, precisely the 3.0 CSL, a lighter version of the E9 coupe – ancestor of the 6 Series – launched in 1971 with 3.0-liter 6-cylinder in-line engine from 180 to 206 horsepower.
