Twinmotion Adds Sketchfab Integration

Back to overview

We are pleased to announce that Twinmotion, another member of the Epic Games family, now supports the direct import of Sketchfab models.

Twinmotion is a real-time visualization tool powered by Unreal Engine that enables anyone—including architects, urban planners, landscaping professionals, and designers working on consumer products, transportation, or even fashion—to quickly and easily produce high-quality images, panoramas, standard or 360° VR videos, and interactive presentations from design data. This new integration means that Twinmotion users have access to over 650,000 free, Creative Commons (CC)-licensed assets from Sketchfab, in addition to the existing Twinmotion and Quixel Megascans asset libraries.

Twinmotion users can use the integration to access models under CC Attribution, CC Attribution-ShareAlike, CC Attribution NoDerivatives, and CC0 licenses. In the future, Twinmotion plans to add support for the import of paid Sketchfab Store assets. Currently, paid assets can be imported manually as glTF files.
