Spitfire Mk. IX had 5,665 units produced. It continued the trend of structural strengthening to accommodate ever higher-powered versions of the Merlin engine, as well as added fuel capacity and many detail improvements. This project is designed to allow you to expore the cramped cockpit and educate you on its functions. I’d love to expand this project with more annonations and details on the cockpits details.
